Growing up in Toronto and being naturally drawn towards music and art, Tony Rosenberg has been performing and recording as a sideman for over 12 years. He enjoyed playing piano and clarinet as a kid, but when he started playing saxophone at 11 years old, it sent him on a journey.
After posting song covers on social media, he started getting local gigs and performing several nights a week throughout Toronto. This led to performances across Canada, the U.S. and Cuba. By 2019, he was working as a band leader, booking his own gigs everywhere from local restaurants to weddings.
When the pandemic killed live performance, he released his debut single “Bet,” a chill, jazzy hip-hop instrumental. This was followed by “Simple Thing,” “You” and “No Hard Feels,” three soul/R&B songs with a jazz influence, which feature his longtime friends and bandmates.
Currently working on his debut album, Tony Rosenberg will continue to release singles exploring the warm, mellow tones that have come to characterize his style.
