Music education provides the tools for all to achieve musical literacy. This, in turn, opens the door to fulfilling one’s aesthetic creativity, appreciation and provides an outlet for self-expression.
Our goal at the North Toronto Institute of Music is to foster the love of music in our students and at the same time, instill a sense of discipline. This allows students to acquire skills that are essential in the mastery of their instruments or voice.
The Institute was founded in 1995 based on my desire to create a welcoming and friendly environment for students. I also had the desire to have a Faculty of highly qualified musicians as colleagues to help raise music education standards within our community.
With our superb faculty and fully-equipped facilities, we welcome students of all ages to enhance their knowledge and discover their love of music. Students are able to prepare for auditions, exams and participate in student concerts twice a year. We also offer several concerts by our actively performing artist teachers.
Explore the world of music at the North Toronto Institute of Music, guided by the dedicated teachers, and fulfill your potential.
