Mary Stein has fostered a love of teaching for over 20 years, and has been affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and Sir Wilfred Laurier University. As a performer, she has played regularly with the National Ballet of Canada orchestra, and with the Canadian Opera Company and Esprit Orchestras. She holds a M.Mus from the Université de Montréal, where she studied with Yuli Turovsky. Mary directs the Harbord Orchestra, founded for returning adult string players.
